St. Barbara Holy Name’s 4th Annual Classic Car Show 08/19/2017

I was planning on taking this past weekend off when my neighbor called me asking what I was doing on Saturday the 19th.  Since this was a peculiar call, I told him I had no plans, but wanted to know what he had in mind.

It turns out that his son-in-law and his family runs the yearly St. Barbara Holy Name’s Classic Car Show.  This year marked the fourth year that this event was held.  Seeing how this is one of their largest fund raisers for the year, and the Penguin was right to say that I really need to go to church and redeem myself, how could I turn down the opportunity?

Once again it was a beautiful day in Chicago, bright blue skies, not too hot, and the Air and Water show gave us the chance to see the Blue Angels up close as they made their way past us after doing their moves.
