As mentioned previously, it has been a life long dream of mine to own a Bluesmobile. For many many reasons, real or not, that dream never came to reality. While it was something that always stayed in the back of my mind other things got in the way.
After a particularly bad start to the year that caused a lot of stress and anxiety, my wife started suggesting that I get a hobby to take my mind off of things. And while having a hobby is great, the only one I have ever been interested in, is working on cars. In fact it’s been over 10 years since I owned my last cruiser.
So right away the red flags went up in my head.
Cars are an expensive hobby. Especially when you have a particular fondness for late 60’s, early 70’s muscle cars. Any that I could afford are worn down to a nub, and would take way more time and money than I could give it to get in presentable shape.
Then the red flag went away, and a light bulb went off! What about a Bluesmobile??? It doesn’t have to be very presentable. In fact it’s supposed to look like a POS. Monaco’s aren’t very expensive, but they are hard to find in good shape.
But there was hope!
